Chick & Hatching Egg FAQs❓️
• Straight-Run ONLY. Sex not guaranteed.
• Chicks are available via Waitlist ONLY.
• Minimum Chick Purchase = 2 of any breed.
• Deposit for Waitlist: 20% (minimum $1), applied toward pickup total.
• Once a breed reaches the minimum required reservations, incubation will begin. Buyers will be notified when incubation starts and again when chicks are ready for pickup.
• Due to the nature of live animals, we cannot guarantee health or survival after chicks leave our care, but we’re always happy to offer guidance and support.
• Due to the nature of hatching eggs, we cannot guarantee hatch rates or outcomes, only fertility.
• All Fibro Projects: All chicks will carry fibromelanistic (black pigment) genetics, but visible expression varies.
• Naked Fibro Hatching Eggs (Cemani × Turken): All chicks will carry Naked Neck genetics, though only about 50% will hatch with visible naked-neck expression.

Meet Our Flock 🐓
At the heart of our breeding projects is Felix, our Ayam Cemani rooster. With his striking black features, beetle-green sheen, and calm temperament around both people and hens, Felix has become the foundation of our fibro projects. With qualities that closely match the proposed American SOP and a personality gentle enough for a backyard flock, he represents the direction we hope to grow with our birds.
At Pixel Hollow Homestead, we focus on creating fun and intentional fibro mixes designed for colorful, healthy backyard flocks. Rather than breeding pure Cemani lines, our goal is to explore unique crosses, dark pigmentation traits, and eye-catching variety while maintaining friendly personalities and practical farm qualities. These specialty mixes make up the majority of our hatching egg and chick offerings.CURRENT AND UPCOMING BREEDING PROJECTS INCLUDE:

What started as a love for rare breeds and colorful eggs has grown into something we're truly proud of — a small but thriving homestead where every animal is loved, every product is made with intention, and quality of life matters for everything that calls Pixel Hollow home.
